I know it has been a while but I still haven’t found the perfect theme for this blog yet. Over the course of this hot summertime weather week to the weekend, I’ll be configuring a theme I just downloaded a few minutes ago and get it ready for upload hopefully in the next few days.

It’s not as easy as some may say to update a theme and configure it to someone’s liking because people may be confusing when it comes to setting up the coding and the CSS of the theme. Hopefully I won’t make you guys wait any longer.

At first we had some trouble getting on the google’s index list but after a month or so we are on the board and now we have 35 total pages indexed. Many people may wonder why this is important, and I have one word to explain it all, Traffic!

Traffic means visitors and the more indexed pages we have the more visitors we are bound to get and that just means the Momoi Halko Blog will get bigger and bigger as time goes by. Wish us luck!

I have been searching for a few backlinks to this blog and I came across one that is asian. I don’t know the language but if I had to guess it is Japanese.

It isn’t clickable so if you want to see what I am talking about just copy and paste that on to your browser and check. It is interesting and weird. I just assume this blog was owned by someone that spoke that language, Should have checked history huh.

Well I finally got around to editing the permalinks on this blog to make it more SEO Friendly. SEO Stands for Search Engine Optimization for those that do not know about it. It helps us get indexed faster and eve helps us get a bit of traffic.

Right now at the end of the url in your address bar you should read “/Webmaster/Permalink-Fixed/” because that is the category followed by the Post name. That is seo friendly because these are words, not just number representing the post.

Earlier today Wordpress Announced its latest version of wordpress which is WP 2.5.1. We are currently on 2.5 and that means we will be upgrading soon. I don’t see a point in upgrading now so I may actually wait a few more weeks until all my finals in College are over in just over three weeks.

Wordpress 2.5.1 is supposed to fix a few bugs along with security holes that can put blogs at risk. I have a pretty good firewall on this server with not a lot of enemies on the internet that know how to hack. So I am not concerned too much about this so that’s why the wait is coming. But the upgrade will take place unless another version comes out soon.
